About
About The Haanel Reader
The Haanel Reader is an independent guide to Charles F. Haanel (1866 to 1949) and his best known work, The Master Key System. It explains who he was, what the course teaches part by part, how readers practice its exercises, and how his ideas fit into the New Thought movement.
Not an official site
This site is not run by, endorsed by or connected to Haanel's family, his estate, or any publisher of his books. It does not sell editions of his work, courses or coaching. His early books are in the public domain in the United States, and every quotation here comes from early printings.
How we write
We keep three things apart: what the historical record shows, what Haanel taught, and what modern evidence says. When a popular story about the book cannot be traced to a source, we say so. Nothing on this site is medical, financial or psychological advice.
